I am a contemporary artist from Hong Kong. I studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in Germany, MFA at the Department of Fine Arts at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, BA at the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University.

In my studies, there was no definite major. Teaching & Learning Philosophy

My strength is to figure out what skills and qualities I need to carry out a task quickly. I take action to learn and apply it. From my experience as a professor at Chung-Ang University since 2017, I realize how important it is to motivate and help you to find your interest. Please take the courage to voice out your opinion. So we could discuss and build a better learning environment.

My courses are project-based. You do not learn a skill just for mastering it. You learn it for doing what you want. Seek original ideas for your projects. It is not only essential to apply your skill in practice. More progressively, I believe learning while you use it is most effective and long lasting. Therefore, you should not expect a very technical course in my classes. I will not spend too much time showing how to use software step by step. Try to open up your creativity, start an exciting project and learn the necessary skills along the way.
